Lego è una linea di giocattoli in plastica prodotta da The Lego Group, una società privata con sede a Billund, in Danimarca. Il prodotto di punta dell'azienda Lego è costituito da colorati mattoncini di plastica ad incastro accompagnati da una serie di ingranaggi e personaggi chiamati minifigures, e varie altre parti. I pezzi Lego possono essere assemblati e collegati in molti modi per costruire oggetti, inclusi veicoli, edifici e robot. Qualsiasi cosa costruita può essere smontata di nuovo, e i pezzi riutilizzati per fare nuove cose.

Il Gruppo Lego iniziò a fabbricare i mattoncini giocattolo ad incastro nel 1949 e il suo successo è stato davvero grande che in seguito sotto il marchio sono stati sviluppati film, giochi, videogames e sei parchi di divertimento Legoland. A luglio 2015, erano stati prodotti 600 miliardi di pezzi Lego.
